IV. Date and Venue

The event will be held at Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria on November 25, 2023 (2222 West Loop South, Houston, Texas 77027).

 VI. Qualifications

a. All participating players of the 18th World Xiangqi Championship can register for free; other non-participating players can also participate in WRXC according to this registration method.
b. Non-participating players can sign up for WRXC through the member organizations of the WXF. The total number of additional players who sign up should not exceed 10 (non-Chinese, non-Vietnamese players do not count for the quota). The registration fee is $100/person. The host country can add two more non-World Xiangqi Championship players to participate.
c. When the number of players is odd number, the Houston Xiangqi Association will make it even.

VII. Competition Methods

a. The World Xiangqi Rules apply.
b. Time control: 10 minutes base time +5 seconds increment per move. If a player's time expires, he or she loses the game.
c. The competition system and rounds will be determined according to the number of participants.

VIII. Award Methods

a. Overall Individual: the top 8 are awarded, with the top 3 receiving trophies, and the top 8 receiving certificates and prize.
b. Non-Chinese non-Vietnamese Individual: the top 8 are awarded, with the top 3 receiving trophies, and the top 8 receiving certificates and prize.
c. The rankings and prizes of non-Chinese, non-Vietnamese can be awarded repeatedly.

X. Registration

a. All associations are required to submit (via email) the registration form stamped with the association seal to WXF Secretariat and the organizing committee by October 31, 2023.
