    Men’s team; Women’s team; Men’s individual; Women’s Individual

9. Qualification:
1) WXF Members and its affiliated Associations can team up to participate.
2) Non WXF members and associate members can join through recommendation of WXF members of their continent.
3) Team Group
        i. Each participating team may register 3 players for Men’s team, 2 players for Women’s team.
       ii. Each team can have up to one Guest Player of other Associations.
4) Youth Group
       i. U18 : Players born between 1st Jan. 2006 to 31st Dec. 2008
       ii. U15: Players born between 1st Jan. 2009 to 31st Dec. 2011
       iii. U12: Players born between 1st Jan. 2012 to 31st Dec. 2016
       iv. No limit for numbers of participants
5) Each participating team registered for both Team and Youth Groups may register 2 team leaders and 2 coaches; each participating team registered for only Team or Youth Group may register 1 team leader and 1 coach. Team leader and coach can be acted as players as well.

10. Competition Method:
1) The WXF Xiangqi Competition Rules will be adopted.
2) Competition timing: 40 minutes + 15 seconds increment per player per game.
3) Team Group
                        i. The tables of the game players should be fixed according to the entry form submitted by each team;
                        ii.The Men’s Team is set by 3 tables. The competition method and number of rounds of the matches will depend on the number of the men teams registered;
                        iii.The Women’s Team is set by 2 tables. The competition method and number of rounds of the matches will depend on the number of the women teams registered.
                        iv. Ranking of individual:
                        According to the personal points ranking, the highest personal points listed first, if the individual points are the same, then the group rankings will be compared. Same ranking if they will still be indistinguishable.
4) Youth Group
                        i. The competition system and number of rounds of the matches will be determined in accordance with the number of the participants registered in each group.
                        ii.If the Group which the number of participants is less than 6, then this Group will be integrated to the closest elder age Group with the priority of gender. The competition will be merged together but the place and prize will be determined and awarded separately with N-1; If there are less than 3 participants per Group, the tournament of this Group will be cancelled.

11. Registration:
1) WXF Members and its affiliates can unify its registrations.
2) Non WXF members and associate members can register through recommendation of WXF members of their continent.
3) All teams shall fill out the Entry form (Appendix 1) and email together with color e-photos of all the team members to 2024 4th World Xiangqi Open Organizing Committee by June 30, 2024.

4)Entry fee:
i. 200 € for each Men’s team; ii.100 € for each Women’s team; iii. waive of entrye fee for participant of Youth Group;

12. Ranking and Awards
Team Group
1) The Men’s team rewards the top 8 teams, with 1-3 awarded prizes, trophies, medals and certificates, and 4-8 certificates
2) The Women’s team rewards the top 3 teams, with 1-3 awarded prizes, trophies, medals and certificates
3) Individual Best Scorer Award
i. Men: 1 Gold Scorer, 2 Silver Scorers, 3 Bronze Scorers
ii. Women: 1 Gold Scorer, 1 Silver Scorer, 1 Bronze Scorer
4) Elephant Award (awarded to non-Chinese-non-Vietnamese players)
i. Men: 1 Gold Elephant Winner, 1 Silver Elephant Winner, 1
Bronze Elephant Winner ii. Women: 1 Gold Elephant Winner, 1 Silver Elephant Winner, 1 Bronze Elephant Winner
Youth Group
1) Each group: prize for place 1-6, place 1-3 medal, 4-6 certificates, each participant will have certificate in line with his/her place;
2) The men and women champion of U15 age group, will qualify to enter 2025 World Xiangqi Championship (Youth U16 Group), if the player give up the entry, no substitute for the later places;
3) The corresponding title according to “Standards of WXF Player Technical Grade (Revised Edition)” will be awarded if other preconditions are fulfilled (No title will be awarded to the Guest Player).

13. Expenses
1) Each team shall bear its own cost including international traveling expenses and local accommodations.
2) All teams are required to purchase personal insurance during the event.
3) Please book the hotels by yourselves or via the recommendation by the Organizing Committee.

14. Dressing Code:
1)Opening and Closing Ceremonies: Please attend with formal dress.
2)Match Field: Formal dress or team uniform

15. Any other issues not mentioned will be informed later.

16. The interpretation right of this Regulation belongs to the Secretariat of the World Xiangqi Federation.
