The American Xiangqi Association was founded in 2014, the current president is Zheng Shouxian, and the Secretary General is Mr. Hu Quan. There are a total of seven subordinates:

• the New York Xiangqi Association,
• the American Xiangqi Association,
• the New Jersey Xiangqi Association,
• the Boston Xiangqi Association,
• the Houston Xiangqi Association,
• the San Francisco Xiangqi Association,
• the Los Angeles Xiangqi Association.
