2012 World Mind Sports Games

第二届世界智力运动会于2012年8月9-23日在法国里尔举行。
象棋为比赛项目之一。中国代表队在象棋组收获丰盛，囊获所有个人奖项前三名以及团体（男）冠军。
象棋的竞赛项目分成：

• 男子快棋 (金银铜牌得主分别为 谢靖，蒋川，张强)
• 女子快棋 (金银铜牌得主分别为 陈丽淳，唐丹，韩冰)
• 男子个人 (金银铜牌得主分别为 万春林，谢靖，张强)
• 女子个人 (金银铜牌得主分别为 陈丽淳，唐丹，韩冰)
• 男子团体 (金银铜牌团体分别为 中国，越南，中国香港)

The 2012 World Mind Sports Games were held in Lille, France, from 9 to 23 August 2012. 
Xiangqi was one of the mind sport events.  China was the biggest winner in the Xiangqi events with all the top three places in the indivdual and rapid events coming from China. The Men's Team event was also won by the Chinese team.
Xiangqi competition was further divided into:

• Men's Rapid (Gold Medalist: Xie Jing, Silver Medalist: Jiang Chuan, Bronze Medalist: Zhang Qiang)
• Women's Rapid (Gold Medalist: Chen Lichun, Silver Medalist: Tang Dan, Bronze Medalist: Han Bing)
• Men's Individual (Gold Medalist: Wan Chunlin, Silver Medalist: Xie Jing, Bronze Medalist: Zhang Qiang)
• Women's Individual (Gold Medalist: Chen Lichun, Silver Medalist: Tang Dan, Bronze Medalist: Han Bing)
• Men's Team (Gold Medalist: China, Silver Medalist: Vietnam, Bronze Medalist: Chinese Hong Kong)

China was the biggest winner in the Xiangqi events with all the top three places in the indivdual and rapid events coming from China. The Men's Team event was also won by the Chinese team.
